Auction Development Process

Red2 works collaboratively with our clients to establish the requirements and approach by drawing on the combined experience of both businesses.

Each Red2 auction development generally follows the below implementation approach:

• Your Business Requirements: We receive or discuss with you your business requirements and identify areas covered by our existing core software and areas that will need further development. This is either based on your business specification, or we run a workshop to identify the relevant business rules.
• Statement of Work: We present a Statement of Work with our proposed solution. We will include any additional areas and propose changes which the client may not have thought of, but which in our experience will bring additional value to the project.
• Agreement: We jointly agree deliverables against a phased development.
• Implement Agile Methodology: We specify the work with a set of user stories which describe the end system, following our Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Mock-up Delivery: We produce graphical mock-ups of the key stages of the user journey, so that you can understand the site’s functionality.
• Design Model: We design the look and feel of the site following your brand guidelines, while simultaneously bearing in mind the target audience you are trying to reach. You get to sign-off the look and feel iteratively, so that you are confident that the final result will meet your expectations.
• Development: Iterative development begins based on both the Mock-ups and requirements
• Testing: The project is released into a User Acceptance environment where you’ll have the ability to test and prod the system, as well as feedback on it.
• Production: You sign off the development and the product is moved into production.
